WHAT
IS PSYCHOTHERAPY?
Psychotherapy provides an opportunity for you to talk about
difficulties you may be experiencing in your every day life. These
difficulties can include anxiety, stress, lack of confidence ,
relationship difficulties, or simply dissatisfaction in one’s life.
In a confidential and private setting you can talk openly to your
therapist. By meeting at the same time and place weekly you can
experience the freedom to talk freely without judgment , and with
acceptance. By uncovering your own strengths and becoming aware of
patterns of behaviour that may hold you back, therapy helps
to create awareness of things you may wish to change in your
life.
As the relationship with your therapist is the most important aspect of
the work it is important that you feel comfortable with the
therapist that you choose.
Some of the issues worked with are:
. Depression
. Anxiety
. Low self esteem

. Relationship, Family and work issues
. Loss
. Sexual and emotional abuse
. Bullying
. Trauma
. Anger Management

HOW WILL THERAPY BENEFIT ME?
The aim of therapy is to increase self awareness, therefore promoting
personal growth and change. The relationship between the client and
