The CHEK Exercise philosophy is one of wholeness, treating the bodys
systems as integral parts of the whole,rather than compartmentalising
it.
Our bodies no longer function in the way they were intended to (as hunter-gathers
rather than desk-bound commuters) and as a result many of us are falling
prey to muscle imbalances, postural problems and energy drainage due to
overwhelming life stress.
By assessing life stress or physiological load, posture and general well-being,
an appropriate(often gentle and always energising) programme of corrective
exercise is structured to increase the bodys ability to enjoy a
full and vital life.
